Open Data Day 2023

Each year, International Open Data Day serves as way for governments around the world to highlight the benefits of open data and engage communities in the development of data-driven solutions to common civic challenges.

The City-Parish is hosting a virtual event on Thursday, March 2, 2023 from 6-7pm, featuring “lightning talks” on how data is used to keep citizens informed on public safety, financial transparency, blight remediation and more.  Each lightning talk will feature a 10 minute presentation of how data is used to engage with key stakeholders and the general public, along with a question-and-answer session with participants.
