  • Regular Service
    (Active employment) with contributions made to CPERS
  • Trade of Accrued Sick and/or Vacation Leave For service credit
  • Active Military Service
    (Up to three years, Honorable Discharge, copy of DD214) No cost to the member
  • Prior Service with the City
    (Contributions must be on deposit with CPERS)
  • Transferred Service
    From another Louisiana Public Employees’ Retirement System
