Baton Rouge, La. – April 28, 2022 – Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome announced the East Baton Rouge Parish Office of Community Development will be issuing a Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) for approximately $2,000,000 in federal Community Development Block Grant Declared Disaster Recovery Funding (DDRF) for housing initiative 2022 Baton Rouge Rebuilds Developer Program (2022 BRRDP). The program is aimed to assist landlords and small developers with rehabilitation and reconstruction. Applicants will be eligible to apply for up to four units within designated areas of East Baton Rouge Parish.
This program will be administered in partnership with Louisiana Housing Corporation on behalf of the State of Louisiana Office of Community Development. The complete NOFA can be located online at www.lhc.la.gov and www.brla.gov/CommunityDevelopment.
The 2022 BRRDP application is now open and can be located and submitted online at https://d1.appshga.com/app/brr/. A link to this online application can also be found on the websites for LHC (www.lhc.la.gov) and the City-Parish Office of Community Development (www.brla.gov/communitydevelopment).
Applications must be received no later than May 11, 2022, at 4:30 p.m. Applications must be complete upon submission; applications that are incomplete will not be evaluated.
