Baton Rouge, La. — November 8, 2021 — Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome and the Mayor’s Advisory Council on Veterans Affairs will host a Veterans Day Breakfast on Wednesday, November 10, to honor veterans in the Baton Rouge community.
“Our veterans have sacrificed so much to defend the freedoms and liberties we enjoy here in East Baton Rouge Parish — it is important for us to take every opportunity to show support and thank them for their service,” said Mayor Broome. “I look forward to this opportunity to bring our veteran community together, honor them, and create lasting memories.”
Breakfast will be served from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Main Library Branch, located at 7711 Goodwood Boulevard.
Pre-registration is required due to limited seating. Registrations will close at noon on Tuesday, November 9.
Eligible attendees must be a resident of East Baton Rouge Parish; have previously served in at least one branch of the armed forces; and present e-ticket or confirmation of registration from Eventbrite in order to enter the event.
