BATON ROUGE, LA – September 1, 2021 — Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome has extended the curfew for East Baton Rouge Parish. The curfew will remain in place from midnight until 5:00 A.M. on Thursday, September 2. 

East Baton Rouge Parish has up to 140 traffic signals without power, street lights without power, and downed trees in roadways; the extension is to ensure resident safety as our crews continue to assess and mitigate safety hazards on our roadways.
