Baton Rouge, La. – August 31, 2021 – Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome has extended the curfew for East Baton Rouge Parish. The curfew will remain in place, beginning at dusk tonight, August 31, lasting until dawn on September 1. The extension is to ensure residents' safety as our crews continue to assess and mitigate safety hazards on our roadways.
Mayor Broome has also extended the closure of all City-Parish buildings through Friday, September 3. City-Parish buildings are restricted to essential personnel only.
