Baton Rouge, LA – The Council Administrator/Treasure announces changes to public comments for the Metropolitan Council Meeting, beginning

Wednesday, October 14, 2020. Emailed public comments will no longer be read aloud during the public comment period for each item on the agenda. Any interested member of the public who wishes to comment on any item on the agenda (except for introductions which will be available for public comment/public hearing at a later date) may comment in person in accordance with the Metropolitan Council public comment policy at the River Center Branch Library, 250 North Boulevard, Baton Rouge, LA 70802, 4th-floor meeting room during the meeting. All persons entering the library must wear a mask. All comments by members of the public will be streamed live to the Metropolitan Council Chambers. The Metropolitan Council meeting will also be streamed live to the River Center Branch Library meeting room. Any interested person who does not wish to comment in person may email the members of the Metropolitan Council by emailing metrocouncil@brla.gov (comments submitted via email to the councilmembers will not be read aloud at the meeting).
