Baton Rouge, LA – Monday, August 24, 2020 – Due to the threat of Hurricane Laura, the Metropolitan Council Meeting scheduled for Wednesday, August 26, 2020 has been cancelled. The Council Administrator’s Office is working with the members of the Metropolitan Council to call a special Metropolitan Council meeting next week to consider the items that were scheduled for public hearing on August 26th. As the office finalizes those details this week, we will make further announcements.
