City-Parish Services for Independence Day Holiday

BATON ROUGE, LA — July 2, 2020 — City-Parish offices will be closed on Friday, July 3rd in observance of the Independence Day holiday. However, government facilities that are polling places, including City Hall, will be open for early voting for the July 11 election on Friday-Saturday, July 3-4.

Residential garbage (both in the cart and out of cart woody waste/bulky items) and recycling will be collected as normal on Friday, July 3rd, and on Saturday, July 4th. Additionally, the landfill will be open normal business hours on Friday, from 5:30 am – 5:00 pm and on Saturday, from 7:00 am – 3:00 pm.
