Have you checked out the newest additions to our Open Data BR portal?

There are several we are highlighting as part of our celebration of Open Data Day 2020, which is set for 2 – 4 p.m. on March 7 at the Main Library, 7711 Goodwood Blvd. First up is our mosquito and rodent service requests dataset, which includes all reported incidents involving mosquitos and rodents that our EBR Mosquito Abatement and Rodent Control office maintains. Each request or incident includes details on the type of the request or reported issue, the location, type of residence, inspection information, and more.

We have also created a few useful maps and charts available at the bottom of the dataset page, including heat maps showing the locations with the highest volume of mosquito and rodent related service requests and a chart that shows monthly comparisons over time.
