BATON ROUGE, LA — July 9, 2019 — Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome, in conjunction with the East Baton Rouge Division of Human Development & Services’ EmployBR Program, announced today that the East Baton Rouge Parish Head Start and Early Head Start Programs are hiring qualified applicants for the upcoming school year, which begins for staff on Aug. 12, 2019.
EmployBR is hosting a job fair for this Friday, July 12 from 10:00 a.m. until 3:00.p.m. at the Delmont Gardens Library, located at 3351 Lorraine Street. Applicants attending the job fair should come with copies of their updated resume and be prepared for possible on-site interviews.
Available positions include Teacher Aide, Teacher Advanced, Family Advocates, Clerical Staff and Cook. Individuals interested in these positions can complete an online application at www.brla.gov/jobs.
All positions for the upcoming school year are scheduled to be filled by August 12, 2019.
