BATON ROUGE, LA — April 24, 2019 — Today, Mayor President Sharon Weston Broome announced 44 Blue Productions would return to the Capital region to film First Responders Live featuring Baton Rouge’s EMS, fire, and police departments. The show will premiere on Wednesday, June 12, at 8:00 p.m. CST on Fox.
44 Blue Productions previously produced Nightwatch for A&E in 2018, which featured Baton Rouge’s EMS first responders in real emergency situations.
“We welcome 44 Blue Productions back to Baton Rouge to showcase even more of our highly-skilled first responders,” said Mayor Broome. “This is a wonderful opportunity for a nationwide audience to see our first responders in action and to learn a bit about our great city.”
First Responders Live will feature five to seven cities throughout the United States, including Baton Rouge.
“The department of EMS is very happy to participate in this upcoming show and to work with this production company again,” said Chad Guillot, EMS Executive Director. “They have proven to show the true nature of our city and department accurately. This project will give the public a chance to see how hard our first responders work and how our services impact the citizens of our parish.”
