BATON ROUGE, LA — January 12, 2019 — Today, Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome announced that HealthyBR will partner with Knock Knock Children’s Museum (KKCM) on a year-long partnership focused on promoting health in families.
Through her Healthy Cities Initiative, HealthyBR, Mayor Broome is proud to announce #LoveBatonRouge Saturdays. On the first Saturday of each month, experts from across our community will demonstrate how families can be healthy all year long.
To help promote these themes across the parish, KKCM and Mayor Broome will host a different school each month. Schools will compete for an opportunity to visit KKCM by embodying that month’s theme in their classrooms. Each selected school will receive 50 free passes to attend a #LoveBatonRouge Saturday at KKCM. Applications are available now through February 15 on the HealthyBR website: http://www.healthybr.com/be-active/family-kids/.
