[ARCHIVED] Scotlandville Open Market to be held Saturday, August 25th

SCOTLAND SATURDAYS is a community inspired event where buyers and sellers convene for the sale of goods. The open market will be held on Saturday, August 25th, 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. at Scotlandville Plaza. It will feature live DJ, musicians, spoken word artists and Live Art. The event will be located in the “V” section between Scotland Avenue and Scenic Highway. We will also have fresh food as well as a healthy living booth. This event aims to support the economic viability of the area and provide a common focal point for residents to socialize.

All types of vendors are welcome, registration is encouraged and the entire community is invited to come out. “Scotlandville has a rich entrepreneurial history. This event is a launch to bring back the organic vibe of the people in Scotlandville,” said organizer, Byron Washington.
