Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome presents Red Stick STEM Saturdays at the Louisiana Art & Science Museum on June 2 and July 7. Young explorers will enjoy chemistry experiments, engineering challenges, and STEM-focused planetarium shows. The STEM sessions will be held from 9:30 a.m.-noon, with check-in from 9 a.m.
There is no admission charge. Sessions are offered to students in grades 4-8 who reside in East Baton Rouge Parish.
Free parking is available at River Center Parking and the West Garage on the corner of Government Street and St. Louis Street. Bring your ticket to the museum for validation at check-in. The museum is located at 100 River Road, Baton Rouge, 70802.
