BATON ROUGE, LA – April 30, 2018 – Today is the last day of the month-long Wyland National Mayor’s Challenge for Water Conservation. Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome urges residents of East Baton Rouge Parish to take the water conservation pledge today and help Baton Rouge win the competition against other U.S. cities with similar populations.
Baton Rouge is the front-runner among cities with populations in the 100,000-299,999 range. With your help, our community can demonstrate its commitment to preserving its precious resources. Participants who take the pledge through their Facebook accounts also have a chance to win prizes such as $50 cash or an Apple iPad Mini 4.
