Baton Rouge, La. — May 1, 2023 — As a part of her ongoing commitment to operational efficiency and data-driven decision making, Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome announced the launch of the 2023 City-Parish Vendor Survey.
Respondents will answer questions related to experience as a vendor with the City-Parish, experience bidding on City-Parish contracting opportunities, interest in vendor opportunities, and organizational information.
“The 2023 City-Parish Vendor Survey will give us an in-depth understanding of how businesses and organizations within our community experience our procurement policies, processes, communications, and systems,” said Mayor Broome. “This survey will empower our municipal government to build upon the work we started in 2018 to reduce procurement disparities, improve efficiencies, and embed inclusivity and equity into the fabric of our operations to better serve the residents of East Baton Rouge Parish.”
Businesses and organizations of any sector or size are encouraged to complete the survey process, regardless of previous procurement experience with the City-Parish. All survey responses are anonymous and will be analyzed by a third-party evaluator.
The 2023 City-Parish Vendor Survey will close on May 19, 2023. Business owners and organization leaders can take the survey at brla.gov/procurementsurvey.
