[ARCHIVED] Registration for Teen WorkPrepBR Program

The Jewel J. Newman Community Center, 2013 Central Road, is currently registering youth ages 13 and 14 for its 2018 TeenWorkPrepBR Program; which will be held June 18, 2018 through July 27, 2018

Throughout the 6-week session, participants will engage in career exploration, college exploration, act preparation, early awareness activities, job shadowing, mentoring, exciting field trips and more.

Breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks will be provided! Registration is taking place NOW through May 15th in the Jewel J. Newman Community Center, Suite 4. The FULL registration/particpation cost is $30; Money Order Only. Limited number of slots available.

In order to be eligible for TeenWorkPrepBR you must:

  • Reside in East Baton Rouge Parish
  • Attend school in East Baton Rouge Parish
  • 13 or 14 years of age
  • Family income meets the eligibility requirements for Free/Reduced School Lunch
