2017 Tax Roll Data Now Available on Open Data BR

The 2017 East Baton Rouge Parish Assessor Tax Roll is now available on Open Data BR, the City-Parish’s official open data portal. This dataset contains a full listing of 2017 tax parcels in East Baton Rouge Parish and the cities of Baton Rouge, Baker, Central, and Zachary. In addition, the dataset contains similar tax parcel information for 2015 and 2016, thereby allowing users to compare assessed property values across those calendar years, as well as other records associated with a specific property or parcel such as the date of the last property transfer, fair market values for the parcel, total assessed values and taxable amount of the parcel.

This comprehensive update to the tax roll dataset – introduced into the public domain through strong cooperation between East Baton Rouge Parish Assessor’s Office and the City-Parish – serves as one of the first significant datasets to be released to the public following the Metro Council’s approval and adoption of Mayor Broome’s open data policy for City-Parish government. For more information and to access the updated tax roll dataset featuring 2015, 2016, and now 2017 tax parcel data, please visit: https://data.brla.gov/Housing-and-Development/EBRP-Tax-Roll/myfc-nh6n/data
