Volunteers of America's Parker House is the only licensed Therapeutic Group Home in Louisiana for children ages 3-13 who are in the foster care system and have been diagnosed with a severe behavioral disorder or a mental illness. Trained, professional staff are on duty 24 hours a day. Also, Outpatient Treatment is offered to eligible children and their families to address a variety of mental, emotional, and behavioral needs. Therapists provide counseling to the children in their homes and schools at least once a week.
