  • Formed the transition leadership, operational review committees, and community input transition teams to review and provide recommendations for an improved City-Parish. Received the transition report recommendations.
  • Appointed three new assistant chief administrative officers to oversee the day-to-day operations of the City-Parish.
  • Maintains open lines of communication with Metro Council members and department leaders.
  • Launched the Open Neighborhood BR web portal for easy community access to information on:
    • City Services
    • Crime
    • Fire
    • Permits
    • Traffic

Economic Development

  • Drafted Equity in Business Opportunity plan.
  • Entered into an agreement with the Baton Rouge Chamber of Commerce that now includes a focus on small businesses, and those owned by minorities and women.
  • Hosting the Garbage and Recycling Bid Informational Session on April 17.
  • Hosting the Entrepreneurship 101 Seminar at the Exxon Mobile YMCA on April 22nd.
