ADULT AND DISLOCATED WORKER SERVICES
To apply for adult and dislocated worker services, one must meet the following requirements:
- East Baton Rouge Parish Resident
- 18 years old and above
- High school diploma or equivalency
YOUTH SERVICES
To apply for youth services, one must meet the following requirements:
- Between the ages of 14-24
- East Baton Rouge Parish resident
- Must meet one of the social-economic barriers. Barriers include:
- A school dropout
- A youth who is within the age of compulsory school attendance (generally, ages 7 to and including 17 years of age) but has not attended school for at least the most recent complete school year calendar quarter
- An individual subject to juvenile or adult justice system
- Homeless
- An individual who is pregnant or parenting
- A youth who is an individual with a disability
- A recipient of a secondary school diploma or its recognized equivalent who is a low‐income individual and is basic-skills deficient OR an English language learner
- A low‐income individual who requires additional assistance to enter or complete an educational program or secure or hold employment
Income restrictions may apply based on Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act regulations.
