Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS

The Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) Program assists income eligible persons diagnosed with HIV/AIDS, and creates and supports access to affordable housing by assisting clients with maintaining a stable living environment reducing homelessness by offering assistance with rent, mortgage, and utilities. Other goals of the HOPWA Program include improving access to health care and other supportive services. Applicant must bring must bring proof of income, picture ID and Social Security card for everyone in household. Assistance is contingent upon the availability of funding.
