The East Baton Rouge Parish Department of Juvenile Services (DJS) provides supervision, probation and family services to youth and families, and operates the Juvenile Detention Center for the parish.

Mission

The Mission of DJS is to help change lives, build futures and restore hope to troubled youth and families through effective delivery of transformative services, restorative community-based programs, probation supervision and short-term detention designed to increase public safety, redirect behavior and undergird parental supervision.
