Non-Significant Industrial User
Non-Significant Industrial user (Non-SIU) or user means any nonresidential user; a source of indirect discharge that does not meet the definition of a Significant Industrial User.

Significant Industrial User
Significant Industrial User Permits are obtained by submitting an application to the Environmental Division. The Environmental Division will evaluate the permit application and issue a three year SIU permit.

Local Discharge Limits & Surchargeable Parameters
Local sanitary sewer discharge limits are established to protect against pass through and interference. These limits apply at the point where the user's wastewater is discharged to the sanitary sewer system.
