Sexual Harassment Policy

The East Baton Rouge Parish Juvenile Court has a policy prohibiting Sexual Harassment in the Workplace. Conduct that interferes with operations, discredits the Court, or offends co-workers or the general public will not be tolerated. It is expected that employees shall conduct themselves at all times in a manner that is generally required in a work environment and that promotes public confidence in the integrity and impartiality of the judiciary. Employees of the Court shall not exhibit offensive or inappropriate sexual behavior at work. If an employee or member of the public feels they have been sexually harassed, they should report the incident to their supervisor and/or Judicial Administrator or Deputy Judicial Administrator. A Court Administrator will thoroughly investigate all alleged claims and take any and all necessary actions.
