Applicant Eligibility

Local Enterprise Zone applications will only be considered if the City-Parish has received notice from the State of Louisiana confirming that the applicant has already filed an Advance Notification with Louisiana Economic Development (LED). The Office of the Planning Commission will send a ‘Notice to Apply’ to eligible projects. 

Eligible applicants have 30 days to submit a completed City-Parish Enterprise Zone Application (PDF) and Certificate of Necessity of Participation (PDF) with a check or money order payable to the City of Baton Rouge in the amount as determined by the application fee schedule (pdf).

Information regarding the project’s physical location such as Census Tract, Block Group, and lot identification number (Lot ID) can be found at the City of Baton Rouge and Parish of East Baton Rouge Geographic Information System (GIS) website.
