The Louisiana Department of Health is working with select pharmacies across the state to administer the vaccine to people who are:
People 70 years of age and older
Ambulatory, outpatient, medical, dental, behavioral health clinic personnel
Schools of allied health students, residents, and staff
End-stage renal-disease facility personnel and clients
Home agency patients and personnel age 70+.
If you are in this tier, you must call ahead and make an appointment with one of these pharmacies. This is the beginning of the vaccine supply for this priority group, so not everyone will be able to make an appointment right away. We ask that you please be patient.
