The City of Baton Rouge in partnership with the Urban League has secured funding for microgrants to support local businesses. Eligible EBR small-business owners who have been impacted by COVID-19 can apply for a one-time grant of $2,500 here

Business and Employer Tips

  • Encourage your employees to practice personal hygiene such as washing their hands for at least 20 seconds, covering their cough, and staying home if they are sick.
  • Meet with your employees to discuss your emergency plans and preparedness efforts. 
  • Clean and disinfect any rooms or areas within your facility.   
  • Encourage your employees to stay home if they are sick.  
  • Review your sick office leave, teleworking, and any other related policies.   
  • Review and update your employee meeting and travel policies for your employees.   
  • Share all policies and updates with your employees in writing.
