Retirement System Regular Member Election

Eligible Retirement System members (active contributing and DROP) should soon be receiving an election ballot in the mail at your home address.

This election is for the regular (non-fire and police) members of the Retirement Board for the City-Parish Employees’ Retirement System.

We encourage your participation and ask that you:

1.) mark your ballot for one candidate for both seat A and seat B

2.) sign and print your name on the signature sheet

3.) return your ballot and signature sheet in the accompanying prepaid postage envelope

You should receive the ballot in an envelope clearly marked, “RETIREMENT ELECTION BALLOT ENCLOSED”.


Please follow all the instructions for properly marking and returning your ballot in order to ensure that your ballot is counted.

If you receive this email but do not receive a ballot, it is likely that you are not eligible to vote in this election, or that you have not recently updated your home address information with your employer. If you believe you are eligible to vote in this election and do not receive your ballot prior to February 27, please contact Russell Smith at the retirement office at or 389-3272 ext 215.
